PTFE coated fiberglass fabric has versatile application. Due to PTFE (teflon) and its properties it is used in many industries.

PTFE coated fiberglass fabric which is made from glass fibers covered with the layer of PTFE, is especially used as efficient surface protection against sticking. It is mainly appreciated in packaging industry – in foil sealing. PTFE coated fiberglass fabric is placed in sealing devices as well as packaging ones, which allows to prevent foil from sticking to jaws or sealing bars.

The properties of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric and tapes additionally enables products to be horizontally moved, eg.on the tables. The products can move easier and do not stick to the surfaces. At the same time, PTFE coated fiberglass tapes can be used on conveyor belts as a slip or protective material or as material from which conveyor belts are made.

In addition, the thermal properties of PTFE tapes and PTFE coated fiberglass fabric cause that they can be used as an element which gives weld the texture, for e xample, a checked pattern. PTFE components are available in various thicknesses and textures, so you can adjust it to the desired effect.

PTFE coated fiberglass fabricare sold in different variants. As a PTFE tape suits very well for welders. The tapes are available in various widths, so you can easily adapt them to different types of devices. After choosing the width of the tape, it should be cut to the length.
