DRY PTFE LUBE - DRY PTFE LUBRICANT (FOOD GRADE)

DRY PTFE LUBE FG is a multipurpose dry film PTFE lubricant suitable for use in food processing industries. The lubricant is NSF H1 registered (Reg.no:139899) and forms a clean, dry film with effective anti-stick properties, low environmental dust/dirt adherence and good resistance to water, oils and solvents.

APPLICATIONS

Forms a dry, non-toxic colourless film for the light lubrication of chutes, slides, pins etc. Particularly suitable in low load, low speed applications. Apply a light, even coating from 6" - 10" (15 - 25 cm). Re-apply as necessary.

Caution. Do not smoke during the use of this product and avoid the contamination of tobacco. If sprayed onto hot surfaces or if the coating is heated (over 230°C), ensure local exhaust ventilation is applied and avoid inhalation of fumes. Wash hands well after use.

  • Odour : Mild hydrocarbon solvent
  • SG @ 20°C : 0.730
  • Pressure @ 20°C : 3.5 bar
  • Discharge rate @ 20°C: 1.0-1.2 g/sec
  • Temperature range : Operational from -100°C to +200°C
  • Solubility : Insoluble in water and most solvents.
  • Flammability : Classified as extremely flammable under current EC Regulations
  • Flashpoint : Not applicable in sealed aerosol

Based upon the present state of our knowledge and information received from our suppliers, evaluation of this product indicates that it is free from nut oils and their derivatives

STORAGE

The product may be stored at normal ambient temperatures and has a shelf life of not less than 72 months with correct storage. Aerosols should always be stored below 50°C, away from direct heat and naked flame.
